Tulsi Gabbard calls Democratic Party "An Elitist Cabal"

At 9:00am Eastern Stanard Time this October 11th morning, Tulsi Gabbard the former democratic 2020 presidential candidate and former Representative of Hawaii announced she is leaving the Democratic Party.
On the first episode of The Tulsi Gabbard Show, made public via YouTube, Gabbard announced that the Democratic Party is “… now under complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness who divide us by racializing every issue and stoking anti-white racism…”. A cabal is a secret group of people who work together to promote their private interests. That is, Gabbard states that the Democratic Party is under the control of an elitist secret group of conspirers that do not have the interest of Americans or American Democrats in mind but rather seek to divide us by race and encourage the development of war.
This first episode of The Tulsi Gabbard Show discusses multiple topics including crime, civil liberties, race, and anti-woman politics. She also discusses American's constitutional right to bear arms, speak freely, and practice religion; as well as the topic of weaponizing federal law enforcement for partisan political ambitions.
Gabbard goes on to
state that, “Today’s Democratic Party is Big Brother undermining our civil liberties…”,
this is a reference to George Orwell’s book Nineteen
Eighty-Four that was published in 1949. In Orwell’s book, there is a one
party totalitarian government in a dystopian future where Big Brother is the
dictator of Oceania. Big Brother rules Oceania as a totalitarian ruler using one
party to control the masses and no one can speak against the party lest they
face the consequences. The comparison of the Democratic Party to that of Big
Brother is a metaphor that connects the current Democratic Party to the one
party ruled by the dictator Big Brother in Nineteen Eighty-Four. With this
metaphor, Gabbard is telling us that the Democratic Party leaves no room for
any other political parties or ideas from anyone, and she is alluding to the
fact that the Democrats want absolute power without any political opposition.
With regard to freedom of religion, Gabbard states that “Those who are hostile towards those that worship God cannot be trusted to protect our inalienable God-given rights enshrined in the constitution. And therefore, should not be in power”. She states that the Democratic Party does not believe in the first amendment, be it American’s constitutional right to freedom of religion, freedom of speech, or freedom to petition the government.
These rights are granted to all American citizens in the first amendment of the US Constitution, and considering the events of the last two years this isn’t news to most Americans. Gabbard discusses how the democrats, led by Biden, are anti-freedom. For example, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the Biden Administration revealed the existence of the Disinformation Governance Board (DGB) at a DHS 2023 budget meeting on April 27th 2022. At this time, the DGB, now more commonly referred to as the Ministry of Truth, had been operating for at least two months before it was revealed. However, it seems likely the DGB may have been secretly in operation prior to February 2022 but this has yet to be confirmed. Due to bipartisan push back, the Biden Administration put a pause, “pending review”, on the DGB on May 18th. The story doesn't end here, and on June 7th 2022, US Senators Grassley and Hawley disclosed to DSH Secretary, Alejandro Myorkas, that a whistleblower had revealed to the senators that the DGB under the DSH was not simply created to protect 'civil liberties and civil rights' as Myorkas had claimed in a testimony he gave on May 4th 2022 during a Senate Committee meeting on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. The senators, in their letter to Myorkas, on June 7th, stated that "In fact, the DHS documents show that the DGB was designed to be the Department's central hub, clearinghouse and gatekeeper for Administration policy and response to whatever it happened to decide was 'disinformation'". The DGB was facing tremendous push back from politicians and the public on both sides of the political aisle especially after the whistleblower revealed in June that Myorkas had lied to the US Senate members and people of the United States about the true purpose for the DGB.
Due to criticism from both political parties, the executive director of the DGB, Nina Jankowicz, resigned from her position on May 18th 2022. Jankowicz was criticized for her anti-freedom of speech stance. At one point, Jankowicz- a government official- made an abhorrent statement in reference to social media sites not adequately censoring their users, taking a stab specifically at Facebook for their lack of censorship. Jankowicz stated that “They [Facebook] have decided instead to allow this kind of free speech fairy dust to reign over the platform and I think that is where we need to see regulation come in”. If it was not clear before, it became clear that Jankowicz did not believe in freedom of speech for individuals or businesses after this statement was made. The fact that Jankowicz, as a government official, would put pressure on private companies to censor their content is downright unconstitutional. Of course, if either company wants to ban certain content on their own accord that is perfectly constitutional. After a three month pause the DGB finally saw its end on August 24th 2022 with its board members disbanded by Alejandro Myorkas the DHS Secretary after immense pressure from citizens and politicians from all parties, including Gabbard.
Gabbard goes on to state that democrats "don't believe in the freedom of thought or religion [and] because of that they try to censor speech that they don't like". This isn't the first time Gabbard has slammed pro-censorship politics. Censorship in the United States is allowed by private businesses, however censorship from the government is not constitutionally protected. For example, Facebook was warned by the FBI to censor and suppress stories that seemed to follow the pattern of so-called “Russian propaganda”. Sure, this would make sense if the FBI knew exactly which stories were propaganda. However, that's not how it played out and instead many true stories were suppressed. One of these so-called propaganda stories had to do with Hunter Biden’s laptop. A now well-known and popular story that for the last two years has been written off as fake and outlandish. So what happened to this story? Why wasn't the American public made aware of this sooner? The answer is that the FBI encouraged its suppression and labeled the story as "Russian propaganda". As a result, Facebook suppressed this story using algorithms, and Twitter out right banned it completely. In fact, Mark Zuckerberg, in an interview with Joe Rogan, publicly revealed that the FBI warned him to not allow what appeared to be "Russian propaganda" to appear in user feeds. Now, as it turns out, one of those stories regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop and his business dealings in Ukraine is real and is now beginning to land him in some hot water.
In another related story, CNN reported that Hilary Clinton, who is a lifelong democrat, made a claim that the Russians were 'grooming' a third-party candidate who was the favorite of the Russians. CNN reported that this statement suggested it was Gabbard, as she had been previously accused of getting 'cozy' with the Russians. There has never been and there is currently no evidence to support the claim that Gabbard ever worked with the Russians. The Daily Beast claimed that Gabbard was connected to the Russians via a Federal Election Commission records search that uncovered a $59.95 donation from a woman, named Elena Branson, who was indicted for being a Russian spy. How this ties Gabbard to Russia eludes us, but this is the claim made by the same people who claimed the DGB was to protect civil liberties and civil rights but was in fact created to censor whatever they determined to be "disinformation". These are the same people who claimed that the Hunter Biden story, which is real, was fake Russian propaganda. This leaves us thinking. How many other stories have been suppressed and in some cases censored as “Russian propaganda” but are in fact true? And how many false claims regarding Russia have been made against American politicians who in fact have no connection? The American people have clearly been lied to on many fronts, and Gabbard is standing up for those Americans who feel silenced and disregarded in exchange for a progressive movement that masks a cabal of elitists who seek to serve themselves and not the American people.
Gabbard is not beating around the bush, she is raising the alarm and asking Americans to join her in leaving the Democratic Party. The episode is informative and factual without using bombastic, exaggerated, or manipulative rhetoric. Gabbard is clear and to the point, leaving no room for double entendres or trickery. She is honest and uses real world examples to support her position, and uses metaphors to help the viewer understand the full extent of what she is trying to convey to all Americans.
Gabbard did not state that she was joining the Republican Party or any other political party. Her message specifically stated that Democrat Americans should consider joining her and leaving the Democratic Party. As Gabbard put it herself, “So today, I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent-minded democrats to join me in taking action. Join me in leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that this so-called “woke” Democratic Party ideologues are taking this country. I invite you to join me”.
